The Altor Verticale is a tape unwinding system through which, together with the Speedy, you can feed and apply double sided tape such as scotch, 3M and others at large quantities, which is great for high work loads. With the automatic tape unroller it is possible to easily and economically convert the tape load capacity from a maximum of 500 meters provided by the Speedy double sided tape applicator, up to a maximum of 20,000 meters.

The automatic unwinder Altor Verticale is a perfect solution for everyone looking to considerably reduce the tape roller changing times, with the benefit of higher production, without loss of time due to frequent machine stops to replace the roll of tape, on the Speedy.

It is worth adding on long runs and heavy workloads, where frequent reel changes stop production. If your runs are short, Speedy’s own reel of up to 500 m may be enough.

Can Altor Verticale be fitted to my existing machine?

Often yes. Altor Verticale is an autonomous unit that works on almost all Macari-Fidia machines, and the applicators it feeds can be fitted to other manufacturers’ machines as well. Before recommending a layout, Macari-Fidia checks the available space, the product transport, the controls and the tape position.

The cost of an Altor Verticale depends on the tape type and the machine it is fitted to, and Macari-Fidia quotes per project rather than publishing a price.
