Double-Sided Tape Applicator for Envelopes
Macari-Fidia Speedy applicators put double-sided tape on envelope flaps at up to 200 pieces/min, on Borea, Babila, Tosca, Rialto or your existing line.

Macari-Fidia builds automatic systems that apply double-sided tape to the back of posters, point-of-sale displays and other printed sheets. A Macari-Fidia Borea feeder moves the sheets, and a Speedy, Speedy Plus (tape up to 50 mm) or contactless Estream applicator places the strips, up to 200 pieces per minute, with the release liner intact.
Printed sheets go through a feeder and register table, and the applicator places measured strips on the back of each poster.
To install the poster, the user removes the liner and presses it onto glass, a panel or another display surface. No visible fixings, spray adhesive or liquid glue are needed.
Manual taping works for samples and very small quantities. For repeat batches, measuring and cutting every strip by hand is slow and gives crooked or uneven results. Automatic application places strips at programmed positions and lengths, and one sheet can carry several strips. Parallel strips need one applicator each, at least 120 mm apart.
The tape must suit both the poster stock and the final surface. Temporary retail displays may need removable tape, while longer-term use may need a permanent adhesive. Test before production.
All machines below are made by Macari-Fidia.

| Speedy Plus | Wide strips | Tape up to 50 mm; up to 200 pieces/min |

Estream cuts the tape before placing it, so no tension builds up in the sheet. This prevents the curl known as the “banana effect” on thin posters. The applicators can also be fitted to another printing, finishing or transport line after a technical assessment.
Macari-Fidia (Macari S.r.l.), based in Ciriè near Turin, Italy, builds the Borea feeding machines and the Speedy, Speedy Plus and Estream tape applicators used for this job. The company was founded in 1990 and supplies customers in over 30 countries.
A Borea feeder plus a Speedy applicator covers standard posters. Choose Speedy Plus when you need tape wider than 25 mm (up to 50 mm), and Estream for thin or delicate paper that could curl.
Yes. Estream pre-cuts the tape and places it without the usual application tension, so thin stock stays flat.
Speedy, Speedy Plus and Estream are each rated at up to 200 pieces per minute. The real figure depends on the format, the paper and the tape length.
Yes. The number and position of strips depend on the poster size, the mounting needs and the configuration. Parallel strips use several applicators, at least 120 mm apart.
Usually not for samples or very small quantities, where manual taping is cheaper. It pays off when the same tape positions repeat across regular batches.
Often yes. Macari-Fidia first checks the poster size and material, the transport system, the tape positions, the space and the controls.
The price depends on the feeder, the number and type of applicators and any unwinder. Macari-Fidia quotes per project, so send your poster samples and production volume.
Send your poster samples or drawings, sheet dimensions, paper type, tape width and position, production quantity and details of any existing line to [email protected] or use the contact form. Macari-Fidia will recommend the configuration.

Macari-Fidia Speedy applicators put double-sided tape on envelope flaps at up to 200 pieces/min, on Borea, Babila, Tosca, Rialto or your existing line.

Macari-Fidia Estream applies 6–20 mm double-sided tape to glass without the cutting knife ever touching the panel, so thin or fragile glass is not at risk.
