The Borea tape application machine has been designed for the automatic application of double sided tape on a wide range of P.O.S. (Point Of Sale) items, such as posters, envelopes, shop displays and so on.

The “BOREA” machine can be supplied with a flat pile feeder or a continuous friction feeder.

How does the Borea FPF feed the sheets?

The sheets stand on a rising pile table. A rear air blower, an adjustable vacuum drum, a front air separator over the width of the format and side air blast devices on the left and right separate them, and a register table before the tape head applicators aligns each sheet.

How fast is the Borea FPF?

The Borea FPF has a maximum speed of 60 m/min. The tape applicators on it have their own ratings, for example up to 200 pieces per minute for Speedy, so give Macari-Fidia your target output when you ask for a configuration.

Which tape applicators work with the Borea FPF?

On the poster line the Borea FPF feeds Macari-Fidia’s Speedy, Speedy Plus or Estream applicators. The Altor Verticale unwinder supplies the tape on long runs.

What power supply does the Borea FPF need?

The Borea FPF needs a 400 V three-phase supply with neutral and earth at 50 Hz, and its connected power is 4 kW.

How does the Borea FPF differ from the Borea MF and the Babila FF?

The Borea FPF is the automatic flat-pile machine for larger runs. The Borea MF is semi-automatic and meant for smaller quantities, and the Babila FF has a friction feeder for irregular shapes, second passes and small formats.
